Anti-Tanning Skin Care Products

As summers are approaching, so is the season of protecting the skin from the harsh sunrays. As they say, prevention is better than cure. So it is important to protect your skin well before than looking for remedies to recover from the tan later. A lot of people use sunscreen lotions and they look for spf, but little do they take care of the right methods to prevent skin from getting damaged the first place. For instance, there is a method for using and choosing the right sunscreen lotion

Here is quick walk-through to help you prevent the skin from getting damaged.

  • Avoid going out in the sun between 11 A.M. and 3 P.M. as the sun is the brightest during this period.
  • Cover Up Good: cover your face and hands with a soft cotton cloth and mittens before going out in the sun. This is a good practice to follow, especially in scorching heat.
  • Apply a good quality sunscreen lotion on all the exposed body parts at least 20 minutes prior to going out in the sun. This way the sunscreen will be well absorbed by the skin and it will be able to provide maximum protection to the skin.
  • Summer tan is really hard to get rid of, so make sure to exfoliate your skin from time to time.
  • Waxing helps removing the tan, but make sure you take good care of the freshly acquired de tan skin.
  • Apply ice on the face before doing the makeup. This will not only help keep the makeup last long, but also help with the sweat gland with their functionality.
  • Wash your face from time to time, at least 3-4 times a day. Apply a good quality moisturizing sunscreen lotion post that.
